How do you make Lady Bugs?

We grow Lady Bugs on a proprietary medium. The medium we use is completely vegan, soy-free, and gluten-free.

Why do I need Lady Bugs?

A woman’s microbiome (all the of the good bacteria in your gut that keeps you healthy) is typically dominated by Lactobacilli. As long as your numbers stay high, Lactobacilli are usually able to fight off infections. However, if your numbers start to dwindle, you may be at risk for urinary tract infections and vaginal infections.

Will Lady Bugs cure an infection?

Depends. It’s important to note that Lady Bugs is best used as an ongoing preventive measure against infections. If you are currently experiencing an infection, we recommend you see a doctor for medical treatment. Once you’ve healed, we strongly recommend taking Lady Bugs on a regular basis to help prevent a recurrence.

Does this help cure bacterial vaginosis (BV)?

Lady Bugs is best used as a preventive measure. If you currently have bacterial vaginosis, we recommend consulting your doctor as a treatment of antibiotics may be necessary. Once your infection has cleared, use Lady Bugs to help decrease your chance of a bacterial vaginosis infection recurrence.
